I dream of weekend
It's almost all I can think about. One more day, one more day... My formal teaching observation is tomorrow but I am unconcerned, I just want it done and the work week to be over. No crazy weekend plans but I am ready to just lay around and chill out. Then, two days of work and five days off. I'm so ready--

I totally agree with you on this one...I had my big observation today and now I am just counting down the days until Thanksgiving break :)
I have said it before and I will say it again, here, to you.
"We miss a lot of living in between those days off we struggle and long for so much."
I know you are a busy person and have a full life but (always the but to come along and muck things up) you can get tunnel vision in your goal. You might just miss something that will put a smile in your heart or bring joy to your life. Accept that things are what they are, and be thankful that you have another day to spread your wings in the world.
I am feeling a wee bit philosophical today. So sorry! Have a great weekend!
Nothing like getting a teaching observation on Friday, when kids are at their most attentive and on their best behavior. (Cough cough choke spew...) Good luck with that!
No duh Mike (LOL). Just because I need weekend doesn't mean I'll blow the moment. I do teach yoga for goodness sake and yoga is all about being present...
Anyway, thanks for the encouragement everyone. I made it! Now to sleep, and sleep and sleep.
